Arhaus Dining Room
If you’ve been here for a while, you know how I feel about Arhaus furniture. I am slowly but surely trying to revamp every room in our house to feel like an Arhaus catalog, ha!
Our most recent makeover was done to our dining room. When I tell you we had a hodgepodge of pieces in that room… that’s putting it mildly. Over the years I had collected pieces from either family members or things I found on line and tried to make it work. It never really did though and it was always my least favorite room. Being someone that loves to entertain, that was becoming increasingly harder for me. Not only did the pieces not go well together, it just wasn’t functional.
Here’s a before look of our dining room:

Also, I felt I had evolved from this style. We renovated the kitchen last year and since it’s an open floor plan which unites the two rooms, we wanted it to match that aesthetic a lot better.
When I was browsing through the Arhaus site. The Kensington collection caught my attention IMMEDIATELY. I mean, it is soo stunning and exactly the type of style I was looking for.
Since I wanted this room to be special, I knew I needed the help of my dear designer friend Donna Verdi. Donna is my go to Arhaus designer that has helped renovate other spaces like our his/hers office and outdoor space. She’s so brilliant at visualizing a room to its full potential! Also- did you know that Arhaus offers a free design service? They connect you with an in house designer that can help you design the room of your dreams! It’s pretty incredible if you ask me.
When I mentioned to Donna that I was really feeling the Kensington collection, she sent me a mood board sketch in a day and it was even better than I could have hoped for. I could not wait to see it come to life!
Are you ready to see this incredible transformation?? This is my new favorite room in the house and I never want to leave it, ha…

So what do you think?? Like I said, Arhaus is such a favorite of mine. Their pieces are a work of art. If you’re looking to update a space in (or outside) your house, take a peek here first. There’s nothing like it!
XOXO, terri
