Loaded Strawberry Milkshake
“My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard”… sorry, had to. That’s all I think about when I hear the word ‘milkshake’.
But onto the reason, you’re here! Hey there, so glad you could stop by 🙂
I’m always the first one interested in fun ways to eat/ drink traditional, every day favorites. I’m so here for it!
I have been eyeing loaded milkshakes for years but never actually tried one. Is it me or do they just look intimidating? Like you wouldn’t know where to start, haha. Too much goodness going on.
As it turns out, they’re not scary to drink… ok, so they can be messy, but it’s a delicious mess. It’s sooo good! Also, just as much fun to assemble. They’re definitely a great way to surprise the kiddos or entertain friends. Here’s my super quick, somewhat health conscious (minus the truck load of candy topping) recipe.
Loaded Strawberry Milkshake

• 2 scoops of low fat vanilla ice cream
• 1/2 cup fresh juicy strawberries
• 1/3 cup oat milk
[ Blend and pour into glass ]
Topping:
What I used: whip cream, vanilla wafer cookies, sweetheart candy, melted cookies and cream chocolate for glass rim, strawberry gummy hearts, frosted animal crackers, gold leaf cotton candy, spiral lollipops.
You can load up with as many toppings as you’d like! You can also substitute the candy with fresh fruit, coconut flakes, and sugar free whip cream.
Here’s a fun video to show how I assembled my shake!
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
XOXO, terri
