Pretzel Wreaths

When it comes to the holidays, you can bet there will be some kind of chocolate dipped pretzel treat at the dessert table. I think the reason for that is because they’re easy to whip up AND they’re so yummy.

Each season I do my homework on what foods are trending. If I happen to love the suggestions, I give it a try for myself. Recently, I came across the cutest pretzel wreaths- I knew I had to make them for my family.

What I love about these is the perfect balance of salty vs sweet. Too much of a good thing can be overpowering, but just the right touch of sweet can go a long way. In fact, that’s one of the comments my daughter made when she tried these. She loved them because they weren’t too overindulging, instead, the half dipped pretzel is just right.

This take about 10 minutest to make, it’s not rocket science. It’s so easy it feels illegal! So let’s get right into it….

What you’ll need…

• Bag of pretzels

• 2 bags of candy melts (your choice colors)

• parchment paper

• holiday themed sprinkles

How to make it…

Start by lining cookie sheet tray with parchment paper. Melt chocolate/ candy melts according to package directions and place individual colors into 2 bowls. Dip each pretzel about halfway into chocolate, and place on parchment paper. Place each pretzel beside each other, creating a circular shape. Once you’ve created your shape, repeat pretzel coating steps and place a second layer over top. Creating a multi dimensional wreath. While chocolate is still melted, dust a light coat of sprinkles over top and garnish to your liking. I’ve seen some bakers add a red twizzler “bow” as well.

That’s it! So easy and delicious, two of my favorite things! Especially when I’m short on time to create a holiday treat. This one will be the talk of the party!

Let me know in the comments if you give it a try!

Happy holidays!
