Transcendent Stays

Last week the fam and I enjoyed a mini staycation in Virginia Beach. Since I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy and traveling is not the best option- finding a local spot was the best compromise. Let me tell you, it was absolutely magical. Who knew I could find so many undiscovered experiences after all of these years of living so close by??

One of those being the Inn at Old Beach. A beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Virginia Beach. A newly renovated historic B&B property! This boutique inn offers a five-star, coastal cottage experience just two blocks from the shoreline. You can choose from a variety of room configurations updated with local artisan influence, and enjoy a daily continental breakfast. We were lucky enough to experience three of these stays during our visit. The “Avamere”, “Breakers” and the “Cape Henry House”. All so lovely!

The “Avamere”

A fun contemporary room that comfortably sleeps 2-4 (2 on sofa sleeper) guests. Living room area, balcony with comfortable seating, modern double shower head bathroom.

Amenities: Hot Tub, Free Parking on premises, Wi-Fi, air conditioning/ heating, and more…

“Breakers”

Second room in this video! A little more private, the perfect fit for 2 guests. I especially love the contemporary vibe of the room. The amenities included in this property are the same as the Avamere.

One of the fun perks to staying at the Inn at Old Beach is the observation tower and complimentary breakfast, provided from a local bakery. Delicious!

Observation Tower

The Cape Henry House

This apartment is stunning! One of our favorites from the trip. Accommodates 6 guests! This stay is complete with a kitchen, washer/dryer, 1.5 baths, living room with fireplace, large balcony patio, and more.

Amenities included are the same as the Avamere and Breakers.

What I love most about the stays at the Inn at Old Beach is that they’re all 2 minutes walking distance from the shoreline. Plus, it’s surrounded by great entertainment and delicious food.

Attractions nearby include:

2.7 miles from Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and

2.9 miles from Owl Creek.

3.4 miles from the Ocean Breeze Waterpark

5.5 miles from Cape Henry Lighthouse

Popular points of interest near the Inn include Neptune’s Park, Virginia Beach Fishing Pier, and The Virginia Beach Convention Center.

Nearest airport is Norfolk International Airport, 17 miles from Inn at Old Beach.

Like I said, it was a whole discovery of fun places to see and visit during our time in Virginia Beach, VA. Definitely add this to the list of places to visit! It’s a 10/10

XOXO, terri
