Snow Globe Cookies
(Scroll to bottom for stamped cookies)
I have found the cutest cookie idea of all time! A snow globe! I didn’t know if this would work for me. I saw this idea a while ago and barely remembered it, so when it came down to actually making these, I was nervous they wouldn’t turn out right. So pleased with the end result that I needed to share it with you all.

What you’ll need…
• Sugar cookie dough (homemade or store bought works)
• circle cookie cutters (2 sizes/ large and small)
• clear hard candy or clear gummy bears
• snowflake sprinkles
• Christmas colored sprinkles
• cookie icing

How to make these…
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll out cookie dough to about 1 inch thickness. Cut out your shapes. Use large cutter first, then use smaller cutter to cut second circle inside the larger circle. This should create a ring. Cut two rings per cookie- top & bottom.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place ring sets on cookie sheet. Place hard candy/ gummy bears in the center of EACH ring. Each ring will need one!
Place cookie sheet in oven for about 10 minutes, or when candy has melted evenly and cookies are a light golden underneath.
Pro tip: If candy has not filled up the inner ring after it melted- you can break off more candy pieces and sprinkle them on cookie while it’s still baking. Keep an eye on the candy as it melts in order to tell if you will need more. This way you won’t over bake the cookies! Also, an alternative to adding more candy, you can remove cookie sheet from oven and grab the ends of the parchment and gently lift corners, allowing the candy to run (melt) into the edges. Lift the corners as needed.
Remove cookie from oven and allow to sit and cool for 20 minutes. They must be fully cooled before decorating!
Grab a set of rings. Both right side up! For the bottom ring, sprinkle in a few snowflakes & Christmas sprinkles. Add cookie icing around the top of outer ring, this will be your “glue”.
Place second ring on top of bottom ring. Make sure the top ring is also right side up. They should sandwich together easily.
Ice the top ring of cookie and decorate as you wish 🙂
Set aside and cool until icing hardens and you’re able to shake it like a snow globe!
