Monster Oreo Pops
Happy October 1st! In celebration of spooky season, I’m sharing one of my favorite cookie pops with you guys. It’s sooo easy. The trickiest part about this is dipping the cookie into the chocolate but I’m also sharing some pro tips to make sure you get it done right.

What you’ll need…
• A pack of double stuffed or mega stuffed Oreo cookies (the thicker the center the better)
• cake pop sticks/ Walmart has some fun gold ones (as pictured)
•Halloween colored sprinkles
• candy eyeball sprinkles
• one pack of candy melts (preferably green, purple, or orange)
• 1/2 teaspoon canola oil
Melting the chocolate is tricky so don’t skip this step!
Step 1
In a medium bowl, add in all the candy melts. Microwave 30 sec at a time, stirring in between heating cycles to make sure it melts evenly. I only had to do this step twice- so a total of 60 sec (NOT all at once)
Mix well and pour in canola oil. Stir until nice and smooth. If chocolate appears too thick, keep adding 1/2 teaspoon of oil until reached desired thinness.
Dip in one end (just the tip) of cake pop stick into the chocolate and sandwich in between the filling of cookie. Applying light pressure so cookie doesn’t lift or spilt.
Once the pop stick has been added to Oreo, place the naked cookie (not dipped in chocolate) onto wax paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
Remove cookies from refrigerator and get ready to dip in chocolate!
Give your chocolate mix a quick stir to make sure it’s smooth and thin for dipping. Slightly, tilt bowl as you dip the cookie pop. Moving cookie pop front to back, side to side (think joystick). Make sure cookie has been evenly dipped. Tap off any excess chocolate and dip top part of cookie into Halloween colored sprinkles. Place chocolate covered cookie on (wax paper) lined cookie sheet. Top off cookie with candy eyeball sprinkle. Continue these steps for remaining cookies.
Let chocolate harden before eating!
Enjoy!
